Scientific study acknowledged throughout the world has proven that diet plus exercise reverses type 2 diabetes. Lack of exercise through obesity or medical reasons has been a problem for some diabetics. But now Crave- a new high energy drink- burns off fat quicker than exercise on its own

Obesity is a prime cause of Adult onset Type 2 diabetes that’s affecting millions of people throughout the world. In front of them lies blindness, painful neuropathy, and frequent infections. Approaching 200 diabetic legs are amputated daily in America whilst 70 diabetics start on dialysis. Strokes or heart attacks strike many with paralysis or death.

By following a low glycemic diet and taking daily exercise the 2006 study group discovered after only three weeks that they had been able to reverse metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes in 50% of those with either condition.

“The study shows, contrary to common belief, that Type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome can be reversed solely through lifestyle changes,” according to lead researcher Christian Roberts of University of California, Los Angeles.

“The diet, combined with moderate exercise, improved many factors that contribute to heart disease and that are indirect measures of plaque progression in the arteries, including insulin resistance, high cholesterol, and markers of developing atherosclerosis,” Roberts said. “The approach used in this experiment of combining exercise with a diet of unlimited calories is unusual.”

Widely reported in such prestigious journals as the NewScientist and commented on by Diabetes UK, the country’s leading diabetic charity, the study has been the subject of much further successful research.

Failing to take exercise has been one of the downfalls of those suffering obesity and type 2 diabetes, but now in 2008 with the formulation of the new “ Crave” Energy Drink this has become far less of a problem.
